Mentorship Programs

MEI has coaching programs in place for two underserved communities in the Los Angeles, CA region:

FOSTER YOUTH

When a youth ages out of the foster care system, there are ample opportunities and pathways for them to pursue higher education and develop necessary life skills, but few youths have the one-on-one attention they need to navigate this system. MEI connects mentors with foster youth to provide the hands-on assistance, guidance, and coaching they need to create productive, successful futures for themselves and their families.

REFUGEES

Refugees need immense amounts of help when they relocate, from language training to navigating the US systems of education, work, and citizenship. 

MEI connects coaches with refugees to provide the hands-on assistance, guidance, and coaching they need to create productive, successful futures for themselves and their families.
